This is my first self-published book as both an author and illustrator. Through this process, I gained experience in everything from developing an idea to selling the physical book locally—an experience that continues to help me today. I created the story seven years ago, at the very moment I started drawing with pencil and pen.
I was so excited to bring this story to life, but at the time, I was missing a lot of essential knowledge. After working with many clients on picture books, I was finally able to build the skills needed to publish this book. There are so many memories attached to this book.
